Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical value of multi-slice spiral CT urography (CTU) in the diagnosis of urinary calculi. Methods A total of 120 patients with suspected kidney calculi or ureteral calculi admitted to our hospital from January 2013 to June 2015 were selected and divided into the CTU group, intravenous pyelography (IVP) group and B-ultrasound group according to the diagnostic methods, with 40 cases in each group. The diagnostic accuracy rates of three groups were compared, and the scanned image quality at different scanning period of CTU group were compared. Results The difference of scanned image quality of CTU group between arterial phase and venous phase was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The diagnostic accuracy of CTU group and B-ultrasound group showed no statistical difference, and were significantly higher than those of IVP group (P <0.05). Conclusions CTU has high imaging quality and diagnostic accuracy for diagnosis of urinary calculi, which can be used as a routine examination in clinic.关键词
