Abstract

Objective To study the value of two-dimensional ultrasonography (2DUS) combined with four-dimensional ultrasonography (4DUS) in diagnosis of prenatal fetal malformations. Methods 1 600 cases of pregnant women in second and third trimester admitted to our hospital from November 2014 to December 2015 were selected and given prenatal screening. Pregnant women suspected of fetal malformations were given 2DUS combined with 4DUS for inspection and diagnosis, and the follow-up data of induced labor and fetal birth were analyzed for comprehensively evaluating the diagnostic rate. Results Of 1 600 subjects, the number of newborns were 1 611 cases, with single birth in 1 589 cases and twin in 11 cases. The diagnostic coincidence rate of fetal malformations of combined method was significantly higher than that of 2DUS (96.25% vs 85.00%, P <0.05); the diagnostic coincidence rate of fetal surface malformations of combined method was significantly higher than that of 2DUS (91.30%vs 73.91%, P<0.05). Conclusions 2DUS combined with 4DUS for the diagnosis of prenatal fetal malformations can effectively improve the clinical diagnostic rate, reduce the birth defects, which has higher value for clinical diagnosis.
