Abstract
Objective To study the clinical effect of Ahmed glaucoma drainage valve implantation in treatment of refractory glaucoma. Methods 106 patients (106 eyes) with refractory glaucoma in our hospital from March 2014 to March 2015 were randomly and equally divided into two groups. The control group was treated with trabeculectomy, the observation group was treated with Ahmed glaucoma drainage valve implantation. The success rate of operation, situations of uncorrected visual acuity, intraocular pressure and anterior chamber depth in two groups were compared. Results The success rate of operation in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group (96.23%v s 83.02%, P<0.05). The uncorrected visual acuity, intraocular pressure and anterior chamber depth in observation group one month, six months and one year after surgery were significantly better than those in control group (P<0.05). Conclusions Ahmed glaucoma drainage valve implantation in treatment of refractory glaucoma has better clinical effect, and can significantly improve the uncorrected visual acuity, control the intraocular pressure, restore the anterior chamber depth, which is worthy of promotion.关键词
