Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of saxagliptin combined with insulin subcutaneous injection in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), in order to analyze its clinical application value. Methods From September 2012 to September 2015, fifty-four cases of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus treated in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 27 cases in each group. The control group was treated with simple insulin subcutaneous injection, the observation group was given saxagliptin on this basis. The fasting blood glucose (FBG), 2 h postprandial blood glucose (2hPBG), hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) and serum C peptide levels in two groups were observed and compared. Results Before treatment, the levels of FBG, 2hPBG, HbA1c and serum C peptide in two groups had no statistical difference (P>0.05);after treatment, the levels of FBG, 2hPBG, HbA1c and serum C peptide in two groups improved to a certain extent, and the improvement degree in observation group was better than that in control group, with statistical difference (P <0.05). Conclusions The oral administration of saxagliptin combined with insulin subcutaneous injection for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus can effectively reduce the levels of blood glucose and HbA1c, improve the level of serum C peptide, which is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
