Abstract
The stress and deformation of lens ring under different preloads respectively were analyzed by using the two-dimensional Hertz contact theory,linear elastic and elastic-plastic calculation methods of the FEA software ANSYS.We also built an experimental setup to measure the contact surface width under dif-ferent preloads.After comparing the contact surface width with the literatures and related standards,we find that the test data are in good agreement with the elastic-plastic FEA results.And the data also rela-tively close to the calculated results according to the formula in EN 13445 -3“Unfired Pressure Vessels—Part 3:Design”appendix G.When the preloads are large,the measured values are apparently higher than the result obtained by Hertz contact theory and the linear elastic FEA.But these values are significantly less than the results calculated according to the formula in DIN 2696—1999.关键词
