Abstract
Objective To apply Self-setting Calcium Phosphate Cement for Root Canal Filling (CPC)- Rebibe chitai Manual to the treatment of root canal filling for young permanent teeth with periapical periodontitis or incomplete apical development combined with pulp disease, and so as to induce the apical formation. Methods 120 patients aging from 8 to 14 were randomly divided into treatment group (60 cases) and control group (60 cases). The patients in treatment group took preoperative conventional X-ray radiograph, Rebibe chitai Manual was injected around the needle point by a disposable tip after the root canal preparation, and then they were given conventional filling. The patients in control group were given calcium hydroxide paste by screw conveyor on tissue surface around the needle point and intracanal medication. After the needle point was formed, we removed the medicine in root canal and replaced it by gutta-percha and root canal sealer and fill the root canal tightly, and then we sealed the root canal orifice and pulp cavity effectively and arranged the tooth prosthesis in time. The patients in two groups were followed-up and given return-visit for 2 years after the end of treatment, and took X-ray radiograph of teeth to evaluate the efficacy. Results Rebibe chitai Manual could mix superfine calcium phosphate powder with curing liquid evenly, and as its main component, the total effective rate of hydroxyapatite in root canal filling was 93.33%. Conclusion Rebibe chital Manual has excellent flowability, was simply and conveniently to operated, and can easily reach the needle point. This material also has a good biocompatibility and a strong antibacterial property; it can prevent bacterial growth effectively, and doesn't cause pain, swelling and other apical reactions after overfilling. Rebibe chitai Manual has better clinical value than calcium hydroxide.关键词
