Abstract
Objective To investigate the prophylactic use of antibiotics in type I surgical incision operations of obstetrics and gynecology before and after intervention.Methods A total of 270 medical records (100 cases before intervention between Jan 2011 and Feb 2012 and 170 case after intervention between Mar 2012 and Dec 2013) were retrospectively analyzed, for investigating changes in prophylactic use of antibiotics and reasons for drug misuse.Results thepercentage of prophylactic antibiotics use was 75.00%(75/100) before intervention and 18.82%(32/170) after intervention respectively. The percentage of drug misuse decreased from 60.00% (45/75) to 17.07% (7/32), with a significant difference ( <0.01). Inappropriatetherapy timing and long duration were two main factors of drug misuse. Conclusion Promotion,standardization and surveillance on prophylactic use of antibiotics are essentials for clinical rational use of antimicrobial agents.关键词
