Technologies of Energy Router-based Smart Distributed Energy Network
摘要
Abstract
Distributed power generation system cannot sufficiently guarantee the energy self-balance because of the intermittence and volatility of renewable energy sources. Therefore, interconnections with other distributed grids or the utility grid are necessary. During the transformation process of conventional grid to the energy internet, energy router (E-router)-based smart distributed energy network will be developed. As the core of the network, similar to an information router, E-router can realize the quantitative demand of energy and bi-directional power flow. The three-level tree architecture of hierarchical grid containing a cascaded regional E-router was drawn, considering existing application types and technologies of various E-routers. The typical features of the smart distributed energy network were summarized. The system structure, energy resource, operation control, communication-based management and the implementation of the key component E-router were described in details from the distribution level, microgrid level to the user level.关键词
