Abstract
The parallel three-level T-type inverters (3LT2Is) can increase the system power rating and reliability. However, the circulating current will result in current distortion and degrade the overall performance of the parallel 3LT2Is. Also, the coupling problem of the circulating current and neutral-point (NP) potential will increase the difficulty of the circulating current suppression. Consequently, it proposed a novel space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM)method to suppress the circulating currents and control the NP potential. Based on the model of the parallel 3LT2Is, the zero sequence circulating current (ZSCC) was suppressed by choosing the P-type and N-type small vector. The 3LT2I existed the inherent problem of unbalance DC-link capacitor NP voltage. Therefore, the time of the conventional symmetric SVPWM was changed by adding or subtracting the minimum dwell time to balance the NP voltage. In addition, the switching frequency and switching loss should be reduced by using the proposed method. The considerate stable NP voltage control and the circulating currents suppression has been proven in the unequal currents from a prototype inverter.关键词
