The Clinical Value of IT-MAIS in Pediatric Hearing Assessment

Abstract
Universal newborn hearing screening (UNHS) is widely recognized and implemented in China, but it is just the starting point of the early hearing detection and intervention for children, which is of paramount significance. Infant-Toddler Meaningful Auditory Integration Scale (ITMAIS) is a simple and effective assessment tool and widely applied to the evaluation of the early prelingual auditory development (EPLAD) in children with hearing devices (hearing aids or/and cochlear implants). With the deepening of the research, it is found to be of clinical value in predicting the hearing levels of children.关键词
