Application of 3D printing technology and PACS in designing the mode of clinical orthopedics teaching

Abstract
Objective To investigate the application of 3D printing technology and Picture Archiving Communicating System (PACS)as a clinical teaching mode of complicated diseases so as to further improve the quality of clinical orthopedics teaching.Methods We randomly divided 46 Grade 2015 master's degree candidates of clinical medicine in our hospital into experimental group and control group.The experimental group received the new teaching method and the control group the traditional one.Last we compared the academic performance and subjective self-assessment scores of the groups. Results The experimental group outperformed the control group in academic performance and subjective self-assessment score (P <0.01).Conclusion The teaching mode incorporating 3D printing technology with PACS has been applied in clinical orthopedics teaching and achieved satisfactory teaching effects.关键词
