Demands for functional dairy products of the armed police officers and soldiers when carrying out tasks under special environment

Abstract
Objective To investigate the demands for functional dairy products of the armed police officers and soldiers when carrying out tasks under special environment, for providing reasonable suggestions and data support for development of functional dairy products. Methods Stratified according to region, and then applied in cluster sampling, four armed police forces were investigated through designing questionnaires, a total of 442 valid questionnaires were got. SPSS 17.0 was used for statistical analysis of survey results. Results 92.5% respondents thought that it is necessary to develop functional dairy products for carrying out tasks. Total demand rate of three kinds of functional dairy products: anti-fatigue, multi-vitamins and high-energy was 60.6%, 60.6%, 55.9%,respectively. The differences of demand rate for the three kinds of functional dairy products among high temperature, cold and plateau area was statistically (P<0.017).The demand rate of liquid milk in plateau and high temperature is highest, 43.8% and 46.1%, respectively; The demand rate of milk bar and milk piece is highest in very cold area, at 38.7%. The differences of milk bar and milk piece, cheese, and milk powder among the areas of high temperature, very cold and plateau was statistically (P<0.017). Conclusions The main functions of demand for functional dairy products are focused on anti-fatigue, multi-vitamins, and high energy when the armed police soldiers carry out tasks. Functional dairy products should be developed according to different task environment; provide different forms of dairy products considering the nature of environmental factors and combat missions.关键词
