摘要

Abstract

Theantibacterial activitiesof16 kinds of Chinese herbal medicine and 19 kinds of antibiotics were measured byjoan-board diffusion method, and the fractional inhibitory concentrations (FIC index) ofS. agalactiaefrom the combinations of3 herbal extracts and3antibiotics were determined by constant checkerboard test, andthe antibacterial activities of thecombination of Chinese herbs with antibiotics againstStreptococcus agalactiae isolated from tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, were studied. The results showed that these16 kinds of herbal medicines and19 kinds of antibiotics presented good antibacterial effects onS. agalactiae, among them,and bothGalla chinensis andCoptis chinensiswater extract had the strongest effects of bacteriostasisin vitro, whose MIC were both3.9μg/mL, followed by Isatis tinctoriawith MIC250μg/mL. Cefazolin andCephalexinhad the strongest effects of bacteriostasisin vitro withMIC 0.125μg/mL, and followed byCarbenicillin (MIC 0.5μg/mL). Combination ofCoptis chinensis with Ceftriaxone, Cefazolin and Carbenicillin had a promoted antibacterialsynergy andadditive, and combination of,Galla chinensis with Carbenicillin showed antagonism,Radix Isatidis with three kinds of antibiotics showednon-correlation.
