Active-Reactive Power Combined Optimal Dispatch for Microgrids Based on Interval Uncertainty

Abstract
In view of the problem with the economical dispatch of microgrids , by taking the uncertainties of renewable energy power ( such as wind power and photovoltaic power) prediction and load prediction into account , the interval is utilized to describe uncertainty . Whereafter , an active‐reactive power combined optimal dispatch model for the microgrid is developed since the active power and reactive power are strongly coupled in the microgrid system . Subsequently , to facilitate solution finding , the interval‐based uncertain dispatch model is transformed into a general certain one with a mathematical transformation method based on the interval sequential relation . Finally , numerical simulation tests are performed on a typical microgrid system with the professional optimization software ( GAMS) to verify the proposed optimal dispatch method . Based on the testing results , the influences of the interval uncertainty degree on the operating cost of microgrid and the power output of the microsources are analyzed .关键词
