Abstract
Objective To explore the influence of the activities of quality control circle(QCC) on the blocking rate of peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) and to find some effectively nursing methods for reducing blocking of PICC in inpatients.Methods The activities of QCC were carried out.The reasons causing catheter-blocking in inpatients were analyzed.The main reasons were found out through QCC and analyzed;and nursing intervention was taken accordingly.Results The incidence of catheter-blocking decrease from 17.1％ before the activity to 7.0％ after the activity,with a decline rate of 59.1％ and intangible results were also improved.Conclusions Nursing care can effectively reduce the incidence of blocking of PICC and is an effective way for improving nursing quality and the cohesion of nursing team.关键词
