摘要

Abstract

In order to improve efficiency of system match and design and acknowledge heat exchange capacity in construction vehicles ,an elementary unit of radiator was built to be simulated using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) numerical method ,and performance curves were fitted based on the data extracted from the simulation .Pressure loss data of the radiator was converted into parameters in three‐dimensional model for further acquiring entrance coefficient of the engine cabin .The ε‐NTU model was solved with the needed data to obtain the practical heat capacity in engine cabin .Two kinds of widely used construction vehicles were selected to demonstrate the forecast calculation ,after com‐paring between calculation results ,three dimensional simulation results and experiment data .It is found that the maximum temperature error is 7 .89% w hich appears in CAC (charge air cooler ) ,and the mean error of other thermal medium is 2 .29% .The discrepancy is acceptable .Computational ac‐curacy of this calculation is lower ,however ,it has many advantages such as short period and excellent expansibility ,and it is relatively simply and more practical ,w hich can be used to predict actual heat exchange performance and system selection .
