Abstract
Objective:To compare the results of non-submerged surgery with submerged surgery on BEGO implant system.Methods:Ninety-three BEGO implants were used to replace the missed posterior teeth of 79 patients.Three groups were divided based on the insertion torque value of the implants.The value was smaller than 20 N.cm and that would belong to group A as the controlled group.The rest cases were assigned to group B and group C randomly,by using submerged and non-submerged surgery respectively.Resonance frequency analy-sis measurements were used to evaluate the implant stability of group B and C before restoration.Results:There was no statistically significant difference in the ISQ value between the group B and C( P>0.05).All implants were in good condition after 12 months followed-up.Conclusion:Non-submerged surgery simplifies the treatment procedure and it could be a good choice when the insertion torque value of the implants is acceptable.关键词
