Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical manifestation , operative approach and microsurgical technique for tentorial meningiomas ( TM) .Methods The clinical data of 17 patients of TM at Suzhou City Hospital of Anhui underwent microsurgery from June 2008 to February 2014 were analyzed retrospectively .In the patients with ordinary TM , 2 cases were operated via the temporal-coccopital approach,4 via the occopital approach,6 via the retrosigmoid approach,2 via infratentorial supracerebellar approach , 2 with mentingiomas of tentorial notch were operated via occipital-tentorial approach and 1 via combined supratentorial and infratentorial approach .Results In this series,14 achieved Simpson grade Ⅰand Ⅱ resection, one of subtotal resection , and 2 of partial resection without surgical mortality .Conclusions Tentorial meningioma is amenable to aggressive surgery .Fine therapeutic efficacy and low disability rate can be obtained by microsurgical techniques to resect tentorial meningiomas with appropriate surgical approach and elaborate microneurosurgical skills .关键词
