摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of story-centered care on lifestyle and behavior habits of patients with recurrent acute pancreatitis(RAP). Methods Ninety-six cases of patients with RAP were divided into observation group and control group, with 48 cases in each group. The patients in control group received routine nursing care, while those in observation group nursing intervention based on story-centered care. The change of lifestyle and behavior habits was evaluated by a self-designed scale and the incidence of re-hospitalization was compared in two groups at the end of 6 months. Results There was no difference in each dimension of the scale between two groups when admitted (P>0.05); diet, drinking, physical exercise and medication adherence in observation group were better than those in control group at the end of 6 months (P<0.05), but there was no difference in smoke and sleep between two groups (P>0.05). All dimensions in control group after intervention showed no difference (P>0.05) except drinking (P<0.05) but all dimensions were improved in observation group (P<0.05). The re-hospitalization rate (10%) in observation group was lower than that (27%) in control group (χ2=4.376, P<0.05). Conclusion The story-center care could help to improve the life style and behavior habit of patients with RAP and decrease re-hospitalization rate.关键词
