Establishment and Role of Specialized Nurse for Donation after Cardiac Death
摘要
Abstract
Objective To summarize the experience of establishing specialized nurse for donation after cardiac death. Methods Qualified nurses were selected then the position and corresponding duty of specialized nurse for donation after cardiac death was established since January 2014. Operation time for organ procurement, postoperative nursing time and the amount of organ donation before and after the establishing of the position were compared. Results Operation time for organ procurement and postoperative nursing time after the establishing of the position were shorter than before (P<0.05). Organ procurement surgery increased from 98 patients in 2013 increased to 176 patients in 2015, liver donated by the number increased from 39 to102, 76 kidneys donated by the number increased to 291. The number of donation of liver increased from 39 to102, the number of donation of kidney increased from 76 to 291. Conclusion The establishing of specialized nurse for donation after cardiac death helps to shorten operation time for organ procurement and postoperative nursing time of donation after cardiac death surgery, and improve operation efficiency.关键词
