Career Decision-making Self-efficacy of Nursing Postgraduates in One Medical College and Its Influence Factors

Abstract
Objective To investigate the current status of career decision-making self-efficacy of nursing postgraduates and to explore its influence factors. Methods With convenience sampling, 120 nursing postgraduates were selected and investigated with college students career decision-making self-efficacy scale and general information questionnaire, then the main influence factors were analyzed. Results The total score of career decision-making self-efficacy of nursing postgraduates was 131.34 ±14.98. Multiple linear regression analysis showed: gender and participation in vocational counseling are the main factors influencing the decision-making nursing graduate career decision-making self-efficacy. Conclusion Nursing postgraduates present poor career decision-making self-efficacy. Students’ self-adjustment and endeavor, reasonable talent training and distribution mechanism, vocational education and employment guidance in different stages and grades would benefit the improvement of their career decision-making self-efficacy and making better career decisions.关键词
