Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of acupoint massage on blood pressure in college students with prehyper-tension. Methods Sixty cases of prehypertension were screened from the clinical undergraduates of grade 2015 in our college and randomly divided into the observation and control group ,30 cases in each group. The control group was given the non-drug intervention of improving the dietary habit,quitting smoking and drinking,restricting sodium salt intake and appropriate exercise, while on this basis the observation group conducted the acupoint massage at Hegu and Baihui with 6 weeks as a treatment course. The change of blood pressure values were compared between the two groups. Results The average blood pressure after 1-course intervention in the two groups was significantly reduced compared with before intervention ,the difference was statistically signif-icant(P<0.05);the systolic blood pressure at 4,6 weeks of intervention in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,the diastolic blood pressure at 6 weeks of intervention in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Acupoint massage can improve pre-hypertensive blood pressure,thus prevents and delays the hypertension occurrence,reduces the incidence of cardiovascular disease;however,its exact hypotensive effect still needs to be verified by further study.关键词
