摘要

Abstract

ASME Ⅷ-2 Code(2007 and later)provided an elastic-plastic analysis method and three eval-uation criteria for ratcheting failure.Elastic core criterion,one of the three,has been already well applied in 1 D model.In this paper,it was shown that how elastic core criterion together with FEA was applied to complex structure under various loading through a typical example.On the basis of fully understanding of elastic core criterion,the relationship among these three criterions was discussed.After the summarization of these three checking criteria,direct methods were proposed for the future revision of Chinese code of design by analysis to satisfy fierce demand from nuclear power industry.The paper aimed to provide valua-ble reference for readers and reasonable suggestion for the code revision focusing on the topic of elastic-plastic ratcheting analysis.
