Medicinal Plant Resources in Geomantic Forest from Conghua District, Guangzhou

Abstract
According to literature and field survey, a total of 353 medicinal plants from 233 genera belonging to 109 families in geomantic forest were recorded in Conghua district of Guangzhou, which included 26 ferns, 4 gymnosperms, 24 monocotyledoneae, and 299 dicotyledoneae. Composition of the geomantic forest medicinal plants, life type, dominant families, medicinal efficacy, medicinal parts were analyzed. The results showed that the main efficacy of medicinal plants were detoxifying and pain relief, accounting for 29.10%; roots were treated as the main medicinal part among the medicinal plants, accounting for 30.45%. Additionally, the habitat and medicinal efficacy of the endangered plants in the geomantic forest were discussed.关键词
