Abstract
Unit commitment (UC) problem based on robust optimization theory has to face to the limitations of the too conservative resultand heavy calculation burden. Based on improved light robust (ILR) model, a novel and less conservative wind-thermal UC model was proposed. Its tractable mixed integer linear programming (MILP) counterpart was deduced. In the model, wind power could be dispatched by using the curtailed wind power variables. The short term overload capability of electrical equipment was safely utilized by the designed constraints against the excessive and successive overload, which made a notable improvement of the conservatism of the result. The deduced primal MILP counterpart, becaused of being a linear certain programming problem, could be solved more effectively directly by linear solution method or solver compared with those algorithms with nonlinear terms due to dualization which had to be solved more difficultly. The results of the samples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed ILR-UC model and MILP counterpart.关键词
