Experience of artificial femoral head replacement in the treatment of elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the advantages and surgical techniques of artificial femoral head replacement in the elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture.Methods:32 elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture were selected.They were given artificial femoral head replacement treatment.The surgical methods and curative effects were analyzed.Results:The postoperative fracture reconstruction of 32 patients was good;it was fixed and stable;the artificial femoral head implant was satisfactory.There was no death after operation,and no complication.22 cases recovered to the life state before injury.10 cases of hip activity were slightly worse,but the basic life could take care of themselves.The hip joint Harris score average was 84 scores,and the effect was good.Conclusion:For elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture,the artificial femoral head replacement treatment can be an early weight bearing activity,reduce the complications of long-term bed ridden.The first reconstruction after implantation method is used during operation;the method is simple;the operation precision is high.It basically achieves the curative effect of artificial femoral head replacement for femoral neck fracture,and the effect is satisfactory.关键词
