福建甘薯（紫薯）新品种区域试验宁德试点初报
The Preliminary Report on Regional Trial of Fujian New Sweet Potato Varieties (Purple Sweet Potato) in Ningde

Abstract
Objective] The present experiment was conducted to select new potato varieties (purple sweet potato) suitable for planting in Ningde, which aimed to provide references for the production and breeding applications of fine sweet potato varieties( purple sweet potato) in Ningde.[ Method] With Jinshan 57 as the control, the yield and quality of 9 tested new sweet potato varieties were determined in Xibing Town, Fuan City in 2013.[Result] Four out of nine tested varieties, namely Longjinshu 1, Longjinshu 3, Funingzi 4 and Fushu 404, pro-duced higher fresh yield than the control.Among them, the fresh yield of Longjinshu 1 ranked first (43 875.00 kg/hm2), which was 46.25%higher than that of the control.Four out of nine tested varieties, namely Longjinshu 1, Funingzi 4 , Fushu 404 and Longjinshu 3, had better performance than the control in dry yield.Among them, the dry yield of Longjinshu 1 reached 9 515.03 kg/hm2 and ranked first, which was 27.21% higher than that of the control.The quality of Fushu 404 was the best with the dry matter content (26.41%) and good taste and ap-pearance quality, followed by Funingzi 4.[Conclusion] The varieties Longjinshu 1, Funingzi 4, Fushu 404 and Longjinshu 3 performed well in terms of comprehensive agronomic traits, suitable for planting in Ningde area.关键词
