摘要

Abstract

In order to research the relationships between the microbial contamination and preservatives-added coatings, 207 coating products from market sales were detected for the microbial contamination according to ISO 9252-9252 ( E ) . HPLC was used to detect both the preservatives-added contaminated coatings and the preservatives-added but non-contaminated coatings. The results showed that there were 12 samples with excess total colony index and different thiazole moiety ketone was the most commonly used preservatives in detection. The types and contents of preservatives in contaminated coatings were less than of those of non-contaminated ones. The use of preservatives and microbial contamination in coatings were closely linked. In order to guide coating enterprise, it is recommended to establish and improve the standard of coating preservative addition for safety production and quality supervision.
