Bio-Transformation of Pregnenolone by Mucor Genevensis

摘要

Abstract

Microbial transformation of pregnenolone was studied in the Mucor genevensis culture, in which 7α,11α-dihydrox-ypregnenolone and 7α, 11β-dihy droxypregnenolone were given from the metabolites. The biotransformation products were deter-mined by IR,NMR and MS analysis. The results showed that the optimal condition for the biosynthesis of 7α,11α—dihydr-roxy-pregnenolone was as follows: 3.5 %dextrose,1.4% peptone, 0.16% potassium dihydydrogen phosphate, initial pH 4.5. The yield of 7α,11α-dihydroxypregnenolone was 59.2%.
