Abstract
Taking the new situation of system reform and innovation development of science and tech⁃nology into account, main problems of science and technology innovation mode in transportation industry were discussed from the aspects of innovation subject and innovation process. Future trends and major areas of science and technology innovation mode in transportation industry were studied. In the context of information resource monopoly being broken, it is urgent to form a new mode of science and technolo⁃gy innovation, which is based on the competition within transportation industry and stimulated by the power of the whole society. In view of future environment and development features, key elements of building up a new science and technology innovation mode were suggested, i.e. the indiscrimination and diversification of innovation subject, openness of innovation infrastructures and individualization of inno⁃vation process. A sound innovation environment with elements of indiscrimination, diversification, open⁃ness and individualization is crucial to realize breakthroughs in science and technology in future. In this connection, the recommendation may provide decision support for science and technology management departments to change their development concept, improve management skills and upgrade service lev⁃els.关键词
