Diagnostic value of MRI on Klippel-Feil syndrome
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the MRI findings and its clinical value of Klippel-Feil syndrome. Methods Fifty patients with Klippel-Feil syndrome underwent MRI examinations, the vertebral fusion and concomitant diseases on MRI images were also observed. Results Cervical vertebral fusion involved 2 vertebrae in 43 cases, 3 vertebrae involved in 4 cases, four vertebrae involved in 2 cases, 5 vertebrae involved in one case. Associated with disc bulging or protruding in 46 cases, with ligamentum flavum hypertrophy in 34 cases, with longitudinal ligament hypertrophy in 4 cases, cervical posterior marginal osteophytes in 9 cases, spinal cords were compressed significantly in 15 cases, spinal cord injury in 10 cases. Conclusions MRI is easy to diagnose Klippel-Feil syndrome and its associated with cervical degeneration and spinal cord injury, which is worthy of application.关键词
