摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of percutaneous kyphoplasty ( PKP) for treatment of fresh osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture( OVCF) in elder patients. Methods Eighty-six cases of elder patients with fresh OVCF were treated by PKP. General condition,complication and effect were compared postoperatively. Re-sults All the cases were followed up for 1~3 years. Compared with the preoperative, the VAS, ODI, Cobb angle, anterior vertebral column height and middle vertebral column height at the time of postoperative 2 days and last follow-up were all improved significantly, the differences were statistically significant (P<0. 01,P<0. 05). There were no serious complications such as bone cement leakage, nerve or nerve root injury, pulmonary embolism. Conclusions The curative effect of PKP for treatment of fresh OVCF in elder patients is definite, surgical blood loss and postopera-tive complications fewer, the symptoms and signs improve significantly.关键词
