Abstract
Objective To investigate the methods and clinical effect of arthroscopic treatment of adult popliteal cyst via double posteromedial approach. Methods Double posteromedial approach was performed to treat the popliteal cyst among 102 patients. By taking this approach, the entrance between joint cavity and cyst was enlarged and the in-traarticular diseases were thoroughly treated when the inner wall of the popliteal cyst was cleaned. Results After surgery, there were no significant complication of bleeding, nerve damage and other complications for incision. All ca-ses were followed up for 10 ~30 months. No recurrence was found apparently. According to the Rausehning and Lindgren classification, there were 93 cases of grade 0 and 9 cases of grade Ⅰ respectively. Conclusions Double posteromedial approach used to treat the adult popliteal cyst exhibit several merits, such as safety, less invasion, fast recovery and low recurrence rate.关键词
