摘要

Abstract

In order to predict the washout zones of paleochannel in coal seams at the west edge in Qinshui basin, a seismic forward modeling was made. By using seismic attribute analysis technology, combined with wave imped-ance inversion method and 3D visualization technology, we studied the characteristics of the washout zones of pa-leochannel in coal seams. The verification of the later drilling show that using seismic data to predict the washout zone of paleochannel is a viable method.
