Measurement of linear response upper limit for LaBr3 to pulsed gamma radiation
摘要
Abstract
Scintillation detectors based on LaBr3 are the new type of detectors for measuring γ-rays in a mixed γ/n pulsed radiation field with high intensity.It owns superior properties such as fast response time,small nonproportionality,and high scintillation yield.As the fluence rate linear response limit of LaBr3 scintillator is not available in literature,an experiment which studies the high fluence rate response behavior of LaBr3 scintillators is introduced in this paper.Lissajous figure method is used in the experiment.The result shows that the fluence rate linear response limit is about 2.0×10 1 8 MeV/(cm2 ·s).关键词
