成都地区中老年人群体质量指数、腰围与血尿酸水平及高尿酸血症关系的分析
Analysis of the Relationship Between Body Mass Index, Waist Circumference and Serum Uric Acid Level as well as Hyperuricemia of Middle Aged and Elderly People in Chengdu

Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship between body mass index ( BMI) , waist circumference ( WC) and ser-um uric acid level as well as hyperuricemia of middle aged and elderly people in Chengdu and its enlightenment for nursing work. Methods Community or village as a unit, stratified cluster sampling was used to do questionaire among urban or rural people aged between 40 and 79 in Chengdu, whose height, weight, waist circumference, blood uric acid and other indicators were also detected. Totally 4978 copies of effective investigation data were obtained. Results The blood uric acid level and prevalence of hyperuricemia of middle aged and elderly people in Chengdu had an obvious linear upward trend following the increase of BMI and WC(P<0. 01). The prevalence of hyperuricemia in obesity was 2. 5 times of normal weight people and it was 2. 8 times of normal WC people in severe abdominal obesity. Conclusion The blood uric acid level and prevalence of hyperuricemia of middle aged and elderly people in Chengdu are both closely related to their BMI and WC. BMI and WC are important risk factors of hyperurice-mia and have prediction function for the incidence of hyperuricemia. It has important significance for the prophylaxis and treatment of hyperuricemia to actively carry out health education about overweight and obesity in nursing work.关键词
