摘要
Abstract
Objective:To investigate the detection rate of prostate cancer and the association between prostate cancer and prostate specific antigen (PSA)and age in patients accepted prostate biopsy. Methods:A retrospective study was conducted in 232 patients over 50 years-old have had prostate biopsy indications in Zigong First People's Hospital from January 2009 to December 2015.The patients underwent PSA examination, rectal examination digital (DRE)and abdomi-nal ultrasound, and MRI examination. The detection rate of prostate cancer was calculated, and the correlation between tumor detection rate and age,PSA level and pathological grading were analyzed.Results:74 cases of prostate cancer were diagnosed among the 232 participants, the positive rate were 31.9% (74 /232).Among the 74 cases,16 cases (21.6%) were well-differentiated cancers,24 cases (32.4%)were moderate-differentiated and 34 (45.9%)were poorly differenti-ated carcinomas. In the groups of PSA <4μg/L,4.1 ~10μg/L,10.1 ~20μg/L,>20μg/L,the prostate cancer detec-tion rate was 9.1%,13.0%,16.2%,52.3% respectively, with increasing PSA,prostate cancer detection rate increased significantly and showed a statistical significance (P <0.001).With the increase of age,the difference was statistically significant (Z =-3.328,P <0.001);<60 、60 ~69 、70 ~79 、≥80 years-old the four age groups of prostate cancer de-tection rate was 11.1%,23.6%,40.0% and 46.7%respectively,with the increase of the age, prostate cancer detection rate increased significantly (P =0.011 ).There was a significant correlation between the detection rate of prostate cancer and PSA(r =0.376,P <0.001),and age (r=0.288,P =0.019).Conclusion:With the increase of age and the increase of serum PSA,the detection rate of prostate cancer significantly increased.关键词
