In-situ synthesis of Ga and Zn modified hierarchical ZSM-5 zeolites and their catalytic performances in methanol aromatization

Abstract
Zn and Ga modified hierarchical ZSM-5 zeolites were prepared by in-situ hydrothermal synthesis and characterized by XRD, FT-IR, SEM, NH3-TPD and BET, and their catalytic performances in methanol aromatization were evaluated. The results show that the prepared ZSM-5 zeolites had hierarchical pore structures, and the modification by Ga and Zn had little influence on the morphology of catalysts particle, but regulated the L/B acid ratio on the catalyst surface, reducing Bronsted acidity while enhancing Lewis acidity obviously. The modification by Ga and Zn could markedly improve the catalytic activity and aromatics selectivity of the ZSM-5 zeolites in methanol aromatization reaction.关键词
