摘要

Abstract

Hydrate-based gas separation is one of the potential met hods forupgrading low-concentration coal bed methane. The influences of the porous property of media and the concentrations of THF and/or TBAB on hydrate phase equilibrium, induction time and gas storage capacity were experimentally investigated by a designed orthogonal test method. The results show that the presence of additive mixture (THF+TBAB) remarkably improved the hydrate phase equilibrium conditions, and THF played a major role in thermodynamic promotion.The porous media+THF+TBAB systemcould effectively reduce the induction time of hydrate formation, but the induction time exhibited certain randomness. The existence of the porous media improved the gas storage capacity of hydrate, whose highest value reached 38.3L/L.
