A Study of Weinan Scholar Liu Wenhai and His Book Travel Notes in Northwest China
摘要
Abstract
Liu Wenhai was a scholar of Linwei Strict of Weinan in the Republic of China .He published a book which is named Travel Notes of Northwest China after he made a long journey and a social investigation in the Northwest China in order to visit his fa -ther from the last month of 1928 to the first month of 1931.The book kept a record of many kinds of suffering of materials and spiritu-al life of inhabitants in Northwest China , kept a record of natural scenery , cities and villages, road traffic, and folk customs in northwest region , and put forward a series of development thoughts and solutions to the problem of Northwest China .The book was an important window for Chinese people to acquaintance the northwest areas after it published and is the precious firsthand historical da -ta in present times.It was forward looking especially that Liu reminded Chinese people to maintain keen vigilance to Pan -Islamism from Turky and proposed to improve the ecological environment in Gansu Province by tree planting and forestation .Liu should not be forgotten but should be valued in his hometown .关键词
