基于禽流感病毒检测的活禽零售市场“零存栏”效果评估
The Effect of Ban on Overnight Poultry Storage of Retail Live Poultry Markets Based on Avian Inlfuenza Virus Positive Rates

Abstract
Objective]To evaluate the effectiveness of ban on overnight poultry storage of retail live poultry markets for avian influenza control.[Methods]Two retail live poultry markets of Guangzhou were selected for the whole 4 weeks study. For thefirst and third weeks,non-ban on Overnight Poultry Storage measure was taken;For the second and fourth weeks,ban on Overnight Poultry Storage measure was taken. The environmental swabs and live poultry swabs were sampled 3 times every week and tested with real time RT-PCR for avian influenza virus.[Results]The results showed that the positive rates of avian influenza in environmental samples for 4 weeks were 50.7%,16.7%,35.3% and 66.7%. The positive rates of avian influenza in environmental samples were stable in thefirst week and declined quickly in the second week and increased gradually. The positive rates of avian influenza in environmental samples in phases of “ban of poultry overnight storage” and were 41.67% and 43.00%,respectively.[Conclusion] The research is thefirst systematic interventional epidemiological study for evaluating the effect of ban of poultry overnight storage in retail live poultry markets for avian influenza control. From the study,suggestions that the measure of ban of poultry storage in retail live poultry markets has little effect on reducing the avian influenza pollution in retail live poultry markets were put forward,therefore the comprehensive measures including reducing the infection in poultry farms,stopping live poultry selling and slaughter should be taken.关键词
