Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To probe into the clinical efficacy of Xuefuzhuyu capsules combined with antibiotics and dexamethasone in treatment of acute epididymitis.METHODS: 120 patients with acute epididymitis admitted into Jingzhou the First People's Hospital from Jun.2014 to Jan.2016 were selected to be divided into observation group and control group via the random number table, with 60 cases in each.The control group were treated with antibiotics and dexamethasone, while the observation group additionally received Xuefuzhuyu capsules based on the control group. The clinical efficacy were compared between two groups.RESULTS: The total effective rate of observation group was 93.3%(56/60), and control group was 73.3%(44/60).The epididymal callosity rates of observation group and control group were respectively 3.3%(2/60) and 16.7%(10/60) , with statistically significant difference( P<0.05) . CONCLUSIONS: Based on the effective anti-infective therapy, early application of dexamethasone combined with Xuefuzhuyu capsules can significantly improve the curative effects and reduce the epididymal callosity rate.关键词
