Abstract
For a manned spacecraft, a comfortable acoustic environment with finite weight cost is the main objective of acoustic design. In this paper, a statistical energy analysis (SEA) model for spacecraft’s equipment cabins with disturbance hardware is built. The sound pressure level (SPL) in the astronaut passage is predicted based on measured radiation characteristics of the disturbance sources, and noise reduction countermeasures are proposed. The thicknesses of honeycomb plates and the sound absorption layers are selected as design variables, and genetic algorithm (GA) optimization is employed to find the optimal acoustic design. The results indicate that, the maximum SPL in the astronaut passage is reduced by 3dB, meeting the acoustic requirement of passages, and the total weight of each bay is reduced by 9%. Thus, the application of GA in acoustic design optimization is validated.关键词
