Abstract

Objective:To study the effects of Danggui Buxue decoction on mRNA expression of GPx4 and TxnRd2 in Tetrahymena thermophile.Methods:T.thermophila growth was intervened by using the boil-free granule of traditional Chinese medicine.Four different concentrations of Danggui Buxue decoction were added into culture medium of T.thermophile,and each concentrations with two parallel designs,by setting a group using sterile distilled water as blank control.Processing of gene glutathione peroxidase (GPx4)and thioredoxin reductases (TxnRd2)expression data generated by quantitative real-time RT-PCR.Results:Compared with blank control group,the growth curve of medicine intervention went up significantly.Results also showed that the expression level of GPx4 and TxnRd2 were increased by Danggui Buxue decoction.Conclusion:Danggui Buxue decoction could increase the T.thermophile’s growth curve,which may be related to GPx4 TxnRd2 gene expression.
