Roles of Epidermal Growth Factor on Absorption of Inorganic Ions and other Nutrients in Animal Intestine
摘要
Abstract
Epidermal growth factor ( EGF) is one of the members of growth factor family, which can promote cell growth, cell migration, cell proliferation, wound healing, bone healing and nutrient transport and so on. EGF is known to positively influence intestinal nutrient transport processes, such as sodium, chloride, magne⁃sium, inorganic phosphate, glucose, glutamine, peptides and serotonin. This review was mainly to outline the effects of EGF on nutrients transport, and to provide a better understanding of the utilization of EGF in animal production.关键词
