Antibacterial Activity of Plant Extracts and Its Mechanism of Action
摘要
Abstract
Natural plants contain a variety of ingredients which have antibacterial activities, and the ingredients can be approximately categorized into the followings:alkaloids, volatile oil, flavones, organic acids, polysac⁃charides, tannins, plant pigments and so on. This article summarized the antibacterial active ingredients and their mechanisms as well as the prospective development and application as additives in animal feeding, refer⁃ring to the domestic and abroad scholars’ research achievements, in order to provide the reference for further research and application of those plant extracts as additives.关键词
