Abstract

To effectively detect the quantity of the viral in swine vaccine in Fujian province, select high effective vaccine for the farms, 23 batches vaccine from 10 different companies collected and used real-time PCR to detect the quantity of the viral. Using standard substance as control, we compared the corresponding RID. The result showed that the percent of pass in 23 batches vaccine is only 69.5%. The quantity of viral in passaged cell vaccine is relative high and the quantity of the viral in spleen vaccine is better than oth-ers. There is a big differences between different companies and between different batches in one company. Real-time PCR is an con-venient and effective method to detect the quantity of the viral in swine vaccine and can provide useful guideline for selecting vaccine.
