Significance of cortical venous drainage protection in the recovery of neu-rological function in patients with severe closed craniocerebral injury

Abstract
Objective To explore the significance of cortical venous drainage protection in the recovery of neurological function in patients with severe closed craniocerebral injury.Methods 40 severe closed craniocerebral injury patients underwent surgery from January 2012 to August 2014 in our hospital were selected and divided into the experience group and the control group according to whether or not the cortical venous drainage protection,20 cases in each group. Postoperative lateral edema volume,intracranial pressure monitoring value,the incidence rate of complication (paralysis, mental disorders,seizures,disturbance of consciousness) and GOS score in the two groups was compared.Results The volume of postoperative lateral edema and the average value of intracranial pressure after operation at 3 days in the ex-perience group was lower than that in the control group,with significant difference (P﹤0.05).The incidence rate of paral-ysis,disturbance of consciousness in the experience group was lower than that in the control group,the score of GOS in the experience group was higher than that in the control group,with significant difference (P﹤0.05).Conclusion Bone window edge shaping vascular protection channel in severe closed craniocerebral injury can protect the cortex venous drainage compression,reduce venous return obstacles and has great meaning in reducing complication and improving prognosis of patients.关键词
