Abstract
The effects of NaCl stress on the physiological and biochemical characteristics of 6-month-old potte d oil palm ( Elaeis guineensis) seedlings were studied.The results showed that : along with the increase in NaCl concentration and in NaCl stress time, the plasma membrane permeability, and the contents of soluble sugar, proline and MDA in the leaves of oil palm seedlings increased, and the activities of superoxide dismutase ( SOD) and peroxidase ( POD) revealed the change trend of rising first and then declining .关键词
