摘要

Abstract

As one of the four major oil crops in the world,A separation system for sunflower seed is designed based on computer vision technology combined with near infrared technology . This design consists of a computer vision system, an infrared generator, an image acquisition card, an black and white camera, 40 W ring light, white photographic paper , a X - ray image processing workstation, an Air supply system and a 2-DOF robot. The sunflower seeds with different oil content have some Characteristic difference in its image under near infrared light and this design can separates the seed based on the difference. The separation is verifies through chemical analysis method and The results showed that the sepa-ration made by the system design is accurate and effective. Based on precision agriculture,this sunflower seed separation system provide a convenient and efficient method to improve sunflower seed market prices and the efficiency.
